As an actor, known for Poirot (1989), The Russia House (1990) and Rosie Dixon - Night Nurse (1978). Guildhall drama school graduate who has written and adapted plays in addition to acting. In 2009 a boxed set of the complete Sherlock Holmes stories was issued on C.D. with David Timson narrating and playing every single character in all the stories.
